Family owned, operated and based in North West Montana, in the beautiful Swan Valley. We are permitted in several areas in Western Montana. Bitterroot/Selway Wilderness (1.3 million acres), Swan River State Forest, Beaverhead National Forest (Pioneer Mountains). These areas are known worldwide for their concentrations of Trophy Elk, Mule & Whitetail Deer, Moose, Big Horn Sheep,  Mountain Goat, Mountain Lion and four color phases of Black Bear.  Guides are normally provided for every two hunters, but one on one hunts are available. Record book animals are taken frequently and both archery and rifle hunters enjoy excellent opportunities. Thunder Bow Outfitters has expanded to hunting on Private Ranches in New Mexico Elk and Turkey hunts, and in Montana private ranch free ranging Buffalo hunts, 67,000 deeded and 28,000 leased. We are not booking agents. Thunder Bow Outfitters operate every camp. We like to be versatile and to be able to provide different types of hunts and vacations to all our happy clients. Thunder Bow Outfitters is a full time business. We offer many summer vacations, fishing trips and horse rides daily. We are blessed to live and work in a place only some people can dream of.
