One of our favorites. This hunt begins December 1st and continues until quota for the unit is reached. We usually have snow and the Mountain Lions are down where the Deer and Elk winter. We hunt the Swan Valley and Bitterroot/Selway. We have four different units to hunt which gives us a BIG area to choose from along with four different quota systems. We chase the Mountain Lions with well trained hounds. We take only mature animals. Most Mountain Lion taken meet or exceed the Pope & Young minimum. This is truly a hunt you will never forget.
